 On the 23rd of May, 1964, Jim Templeton took three photographs of his five year old daughter at Burgh Marsh, overlooking Solway Firth.
The second photo captured a mysterious figure which has since been dubbed the Solway Firth Spaceman. Fact or Fiction? You Decide!

 In March 1965, a photographer by the name of Robert Le Serrec, made this astounding claim in an Australian magazine
- that in the previous year he and his family came across and photographed a huge, greyish, tadpole-like 'sea monster' in a shallow bay just off of Hook Island, Queensland, Australia. Fact or Fiction? You Decide!  In 1981, a historic house in Salem, Massachusetts, is purchased and converted into offices. At Christmas that year, a polaroid taken in the building caught something strange and quite frightening.

On the first of December, 1987, while walking in an area of moorland in Yorkshire, England, he witnessed a UFO, and took a picture of one of its occupants.  When this photo of the St Augustine Lighthouse was snapped, the taker noted nothing out of the ordinary.
On looking back over the photo, he was astonished to find the image of a woman, standing at the railing, looking into the distance. The problem was that no one was there when the photo was taken. Fact or Fiction? You Decide!  "A man took a photo of his young daughter playing in their living room, and the resulting image clearly shows a ghostly, crawling form of energy in front of her. It seems as if the little girl can see it too. Could it be the spirit of her deceased mother?"
- so reads the caption that is usually found alongside this photograph. Fact or Fiction? You Decide!  This photo, taken on the day of these womens mothers funeral, also captured an extra 'ghostly' figure - a man dressed all in black, wearing a black hat, yet otherwise featureless.
This 'Hat Man' has his hand on one of the ladies shoulders and that same lady died in a car crash within days of the photo being taken. Fact or Fiction? You Decide!  After a firefighter attended a blaze in Gary, Indiana, he posted some photos of the fire on his Facebook profile.
It was here that a strange figure was discovered, standing at a window, amongst the flames. Was a ghost captured in this photo? Fact or Fiction? You Decide!  When this photo does the rounds through online communities it divides many people over what it has captured.
Many people think it is a demon or other flying entity, and along with these interpretations come stories of a flying, carnivorous, humanoid creature lurking near Macachin Airport in Argentina. Fact or Fiction? You Decide!  These two photos of Tantallon Castle in Scotland, taken 32 years apart and by different families, have captured something mysterious, yet very similar.
It is believed the ghostly figure in both is that of a man wearing tudor clothing and a neck ruffle. Fact or Fiction? You Decide! |
