Ankou is the name of the spirit who collects the souls of the dead. An Ankou comes about when the last person in a calendar year dies in a parish. Their job, for the next year, is to guide the dead souls away from their bodies.

When this image was captured, the ghostly extra was not expected. Before the owners and staff of the property saw the photo, they were asked for any strange stories about the place. They all replied the same, telling of a little boy dressed in old style white bedclothes seen in the area of the barn. Fact or Fiction? You Decide! A woman in Minnesota was watching her husband wrap presents on Christmas Eve, 1968, when she noticed an outstretched hand appear, palm towards her, on the television set.
