The disappearance of the Princes in the Tower is a 500 year old mystery. In 1483 Richard III usurped his nephew’s throne. Young Edward V and his brother Richard were placed in the Tower of London. Shortly afterwards the two boys disappeared.
In this photo you can see a young girl and boy playing with sparklers, however, the young boy was not there at the time it was taken. For the family who took the photo, it did not prove to be much of a mystery - the extra figure is that of their nine year old son, who died during a tornado earlier that same year.
