 When a serial killer is caught, it is not unusual for the killer’s friends and family to be shocked, saying “He/she was such a normal person!” So what identifies a serial killer?
Can we figure out if someone is one, and perhaps stop them before they go on their killing spree?

 In Portuguese "Côco" refers to a ghost with a pumpkin head. It is said that the Coco would sit atop houses in the shadows, seeking out misbehaving children.
Parents would sing rhymes, warning their children that if they did not obey them, the Coco would come and eat them.  Cattle mutilation is the apparently mysterious killing and (surgically precise) mutilation of cattle and other animals.
With a number of theories, earthly and un-earthly, having been put forward to answer this phenomenon, why are cattle mutilations still shrouded in mystery?  Dennis Nilsen was arrested on 9 February 1983 after human remains blocked a drain in his home.
It wasn’t until he started talking that the ugly truth came out – at least 15 men had been butchered at the hands of this man during the late 1970s, early 1980s.  La Llorona is a legend about a beautiful woman who loses her children and is forever cursed to look for them.
She will take any child that vaguely resembles her own, and then drag them into the water in the hopes she may finally be admitted to what awaits us after death.  Buer, one of the great presidents of hell, appears in several different forms.
This demon is seen mostly as it is shown here with a lions head at the centre of a circle of five goat legs, allowing him to move in any direction. At other times Buer is depicted as looking like a centaur.  Every year, on shorelines all over the world, many people discover numerous things that have washed up from the great leagues of the deep.
The St. Augustine Monster is an example of a mysterious "cryptid" that has divided Zoology and, for a time, mystified the world.  Karl Denke was a devout Christian, organ player at church, door to door salesman and helper of beggars and weary travellers...
Oh, he was also a ritualistic cannibal who killed approximately forty people, pickled their flesh and sold it as ‘pork’ at the Wroclaw markets…  This photo shows an apparent 'demonic' figure, standing over a patient, lying in a hospital bed. It was taken on a mobile phone from a nursing station viewing monitor. The patient died several hours after the figure was seen.
Fact or fiction? You Decide!  A sinister and hideous figure was said to stalk the streets of London in the 1800's, inciting fear due to reports of his supernatural abilities.
Described as being both 'devil-like' and 'gentleman-like' in appearance, was 'The Terror of London' one or more entities, and did he even exist? |
