 In the early 1800's, Hammersmith, London, was terrorised by a ghost that was haunting the local churchyard, the surrounding lane-ways and roads.
The fear was so great that armed citizens started patrolling the area, that is until someone shot what they thought to be the ghost...

 Located in the cliffs of the South Head Peninsula, Sydney, New South Wales, The Gap is notorious for being a location that many people end their own lives.
The number of suicides here would be much higher if it were not for the intervention of Don Ritchie, the 'Angel of The Gap'.  October 21 - 27: A colliery spoil tip collapses on the village of Aberfan, burying houses and a junior school. - Annie Edson Taylor takes a trip over the Niagara Falls in a barrel - 19 year old John McCollum shoots himself, parents blame the lyrics to Ozzy Osbournes 'Suicide Solution'.
 In 1612 a nine year old girl got up in a court room and gave evidence against her mother and sister. She said her mother was a witch with a dog familiar, who her spirit entered and who helped her murder.
This was just one of the ridiculous pieces of evidence against the “Pendle Witches”.  October 14 - 20: Ronald Defeo Jr goes on trial for the mass murder of his family in their Amityville home. - After much preperation and planning, the innermost sarcophagus of Tutankhamun is opened. - Mata Hari, the 'female spy seductress' is executed after being found guilty of espionage.
 Whilst operational, West Virginia State Penitentiary had quite a violent reputation. Thirty six homicides took place within its walls, along with ninety four executions.
A shadow man has been reported by visitors and investigators, and it is thought this photo has captured it... then it was debunked - but not everyone agrees. Fact or Fiction? You Decide!  Death comes to us all, it is an undeniable fact. We can try everything for immortality, but the only true way to become immortal is to have your life recorded.
For these three unfortunates, their deaths left an undeniable mark on the world – in that they truly were very strange.  Zombie Road has quite a reputation as a place where shadowy figures and other non human entities have long been reported.
Gregory Myers of the Paranormal Task Force presents this piece on the history and deaths of one of the most haunted locations in the United States.  The Torrens Island Quarantine Station has quite a long history - that of a dairy farm, a world war one internment camp and as a quarantine station where crew and passengers of ships infected with disease were held, away from the rest of the population.
