 Entally House, on the Entally Estate, was built in 1819. Named after a suburb in Kolkata, this building is home to a rather interesting ghost.
A turbaned Indian man has appeared on the staircase, and on at least one occasion, sent a witness to New Norfolk Asylum.

 In the 18th and 19th centuries, schools of anatomy were always after a nice, fresh corpse. With bodies collected after execution, or donations to the schools not coming fast enough, they would purchase them off body snatchers.
How could you keep your dead safe from these nefarious fellows?  "I will never show it to anyone. It was the most filthy string of obscenities that I have ever read."

It is the home of the 'Nameless Horror', a brown, shapeless yet tendrilled mass, said to be capable of frightening those who see it to madness and even death.  From 1828 until 1984 the Quaratine Station at Manly saw all kinds of sickness and disease. Is it any wonder there have been so many sightings of ghosts and spirits throughout the 74 acre property.
APPI organised a private 'Extreme Ghost Tour' to learn about the history and hauntings.  When a friend came to visit Tombstone, Arizona, for the first time, Ike Clanton knew a souvenir photo in the famous Boot Hill Cemetery was a must.
However, on development of the photograph, a mysterious extra could be seen. Could the figure be one of those buried in Boot Hill Cemetery? You Decide!  Many consider Myrtles Plantation to be one of America's most haunted homes. Once you have read about the history and the hauntings, you might find yourself inclined to agree.
Past owners and their slaves are said to haunt the house and grounds, where so much tragedy has taken place.  Cries in the night, apparitions taking on the forms of the living and random blood stains are just some of the paranormal events said to have taken place at Clifton Hall.
One owner and his family fled the property soon after purchasing it, the unseen residents wanting them to leave.  In 1976, while shooting an episode of 'The Six Million Dollar Man', a crew member accidentally broke the arm off a 'mannequin'.
It turned out, it was not a mannequin at all, but the mummified remains of a human body, one that had been travelling with carnivals for over half a century. |
