 Cattle mutilation is the apparently mysterious killing and (surgically precise) mutilation of cattle and other animals.
With a number of theories, earthly and un-earthly, having been put forward to answer this phenomenon, why are cattle mutilations still shrouded in mystery?

As for the reportedly real "Men in Black", who and what they really are, as well as their agenda, is enigmatic and speculative.  January 13 - 19: 21 people are killed and 150 injured as a wave of molasses tears through a neighbourhood. - An English haberdasher is fined for breaching the peace and disturbing the balance of society... due to his hat. - A farmer finds a 'UFO nest' in Queensland, Australia.
Three unrelated stories of a strange, unusual or dark nature.  Throughout the modern age of ufology there have been a multitude of varied encounters with alien entities reported, with some defying convention by having a saucy and raunchy twist.
The encounter Brazilian farmer Antonio Vilas-Boas had in 1957 is one such event.  The ancient astronaut theory suggests that contact with intelligent extraterrestrials, early on in our history, influenced the development of our cultures, technologies, and religions.
Some proponents also suggest that we are descendants or creations of these alien race/races.  In August, 1955, a series of events occurred that would become known as the Kelly-Hopkinsville (Goblin) Case.
The main event occurred at the Sutton family farmhouse, where the members of two families were terrorised by strange goblin-like creatures during one fearful night.  On September 19, 1961, married couple Betty and Barney Hill had a close encounter with a craft and its occupants.
The Hill's experience became the first widely publicised case of the alien abduction scenario, one that would change perceptions towards our 'space brothers' forever.  November 5th, 1975, Travis Walton disappeared from a national forest in Arizona after approaching a strange, hovering, object.
He reappeared five days later and told a sensational story of being abducted by aliens - a story that still courts speculation and controversy today.  September 16 - 22: James "Jimmy" Carter, future President of the United States, files a UFO report "the darndest thing I've ever seen". - John W Webster, Captain of the SS Nestor, reports a sea monster in the Straits of Malacca - Angel Hair falls throughtout the day over Selbourne, England.
 21 October, 1978, a young pilot, Frederick Valentich, began a voyage flying to Tasmania over Bass Strait, piloting a small Cessna 182-L aircraft. However, he never made it to his destination.
Could his disappearance be attributed to a UFO that he, and others, reported seeing that evening? |
