In March 1965, a photographer by the name of Robert Le Serrec, made this astounding claim in an Australian magazine - that in the previous year he and his family came across and photographed a huge, greyish, tadpole-like 'sea monster' in a shallow bay just off of Hook Island, Queensland, Australia. 'Slender Man's' featureless face, and tall, thin appearance is disconcerting at best. Appearing in photographs of lost persons, he will stalk his prey until they are his, infecting them with 'slender-sickness', his early calling card. Try to run, but he will get you in the end... another missing person. In 1934, the most famous photo of the Loch Ness Monster was printed in The Daily Mail. The beasts long, serpentine neck, and small head, can clearly be seen pointing out above the surface of the waters. But is all as it seems? Is it a legitimate photo of a long thought, extinct creature, an as yet unclassified species, or a misidentified animal? Or a hoax, cooked up by a big game hunter, his son and a London gynaecologist? Over a five month period, knives, broken glass, lids, bottles and many other objects were thrown about in a house at Humpty Doo, NT, Australia. The picture above shows an assortment of the objects, collected after being hurled by an apparent poltergeist. The story became big news, and many investigators attempted to solve the case. One theory was that the spirit of a man who was still living was responsible. Another was that it was the spirit of a recently deceased friend. |
