Phantom Hitchhikers - Your Stories

Be Careful Who You Pick Up…

Roadside Ghosts have always intrigued me… ghosts that, for one reason or another, haunt the roads and highways all over the world. These entities range from roadside wanderers looking for a ride home - to the creepers (children) that suddenly appear in the back seats of peoples cars.

In pretty much all cases the newly picked up passenger inexplicably disappears.

I love hearing from doctors, nurses, carers etc about their paranormal experiences.

I have heard experiences from many different hospitals and care facilities, and such stories, although never really negative, tend to leave the reader/listener with a chill.

Security Guards and the Paranormal - Your Stories

13/8/2015

Comments

People in the security patrol business often see places in a much different light - doing rounds during the night (and day), often entering locations in small groups or alone, and accessing areas the general public do not often see.

At times these locations are of historical significance and many of these places have a ghost story or two.

A Night at Old Gladstone Gaol

25/7/2015

Comments

I have stayed at Gladstone Gaol many times but this is the first time I have written about my experiences there.

Please note that this is not an investigation report as I was there to experience rather than question everything that took place. A bit of a break from working the paranormal, instead, this time, I just take the location in.

All photos of the gaol were taken the morning after.

Detached Head and Entrails...

During the day the Penanggalan will appear as a normal woman, but when darkness falls her head will detach from the body, trailing her internal organs behind her, as she hunts for food.

The Penanggalan will seek the homes of pregnant women, waiting for their child to come into the world, then she will strike with a long, invisible tongue, to feed on the blood of the newborn and the mother.

These 'crop circles' began being reported in the 1970s, by farmers in their fields throughout southern England, but before long reports came in from all over the world.

After reports of strange lights in the sky around fields began being reported, many started to believe that these flattened, mostly circular formations were being created by UFOs and their inhabitants.

Homer and Langley Collyer were reclusive brothers who lived in a four storey brownstone building in Harlem.

The Radium Girls

From 1917, thousands of women in the US and Canada were hired to apply radioactive, self-luminous paint to watch faces and instrument dials.

They were never told how to safely handle the paint and they were never told it was unsafe.

Soon they began to get very sick.
