These were messages received from the Dutch ship 'Ourang Medan', which was then located, boarded and a horrific scene was discovered.

 Built in the 1850's, the LeBeau House has been the focus of many ghost stories.
With legends recounting tales of cruelty, tragedy, murder and the restless dead, this once magnificent building saw many visitors and thrill seekers, until it was destroyed by fire, in November 2013.  The Grand Paradi Towers are considered to be one of the most desirable locations to call home in Mumbai, India.
However, this great reputation is tarnished by the large numbers of suicides - people jumping from their balconies - and the strange events that usually follow.  This building was once a place where many Chinese women - those sold into the sex trade and servitude - could be given a chance at a better life.
Unfortunately, tragedy struck when a fire broke out and those women who perished in the basement are said to still linger within.  It is not known exactly how many people died on North Brother Island during its time as an isolation and quarantine hopital, but we do know more than one thousand people lost their lives when a steamboat sank just off its shore.
The island and buildings now stand abandoned.  Located in the cliffs of the South Head Peninsula, Sydney, New South Wales, The Gap is notorious for being a location that many people end their own lives.
The number of suicides here would be much higher if it were not for the intervention of Don Ritchie, the 'Angel of The Gap'.  October 21 - 27: A colliery spoil tip collapses on the village of Aberfan, burying houses and a junior school. - Annie Edson Taylor takes a trip over the Niagara Falls in a barrel - 19 year old John McCollum shoots himself, parents blame the lyrics to Ozzy Osbournes 'Suicide Solution'.
 In 1612 a nine year old girl got up in a court room and gave evidence against her mother and sister. She said her mother was a witch with a dog familiar, who her spirit entered and who helped her murder.
This was just one of the ridiculous pieces of evidence against the “Pendle Witches”.  September 30 - October 6: James Dean is killed after crashing his Porsche 550 Spyder and a curse is born from the wreckage - Cruiser HMS Curacoa is cut in half by RMS Queen Mary - Joseph Charles begins a morning ritual, one that would last 30 years and bring joy to thousands.
 September 2 - 8: The Great Fire of London begins when a baker neglects to sufficiently extinguish his oven. - "Benjamin", the last Thylacine in captivity, dies. - The handle of a public water pump in London is removed in an attempt to end the deadly cholera epidemic.
