 Venture to some of the tunnels, abandoned houses and lonely roads of Pennsylvania and you might come across Charlie No-Face aka Green Man. He was left horrifically mutilated and with glowing green skin after a severe electrocution.
What is weird is that some of the story is true.

 In 1937 American aviatrix Amelia Earhart, along with her navigator, disappeared while attempting to circumnavigate the globe by plane.
In the decades since, many theories have been put forth as to their fates. Did they crash? Abducted by a UFO? Were they spies?  Many prophets have made extraordinary claims and predictions about the fate of humanity and our world. He was eventually captured, taken to London and executed in a tragic, brutal manner, by King Edward I.  On September 19, 1961, married couple Betty and Barney Hill had a close encounter with a craft and its occupants.
The Hill's experience became the first widely publicised case of the alien abduction scenario, one that would change perceptions towards our 'space brothers' forever.  November 4 - 10: Merchant ship 'Mary Celeste' is found abandoned, the cause of which is speculated for many decades. - Bram Stoker, author of 'Dracula' is born. - John Emil List murders his mother, wife and three children. It is nearly 18 years before he is brought to justice.
 Located in the cliffs of the South Head Peninsula, Sydney, New South Wales, The Gap is notorious for being a location that many people end their own lives.
The number of suicides here would be much higher if it were not for the intervention of Don Ritchie, the 'Angel of The Gap'.  October 21 - 27: A colliery spoil tip collapses on the village of Aberfan, burying houses and a junior school. - Annie Edson Taylor takes a trip over the Niagara Falls in a barrel - 19 year old John McCollum shoots himself, parents blame the lyrics to Ozzy Osbournes 'Suicide Solution'.
 Death comes to us all, it is an undeniable fact. We can try everything for immortality, but the only true way to become immortal is to have your life recorded.
For these three unfortunates, their deaths left an undeniable mark on the world – in that they truly were very strange.  Was Jennifer Gibbons death natural causes? Or did she sacrifice her life for her twin sister June? They were inseparable – living life only for each other, even creating their own language.
They decided that the only way one of them could live normally, was for the other to die... |
