 In 1922, a team led by archaeologist Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun, re-igniting the worlds fascination with Egyptology.
However, It was said that many people linked to the find had died due to there being a curse on the heads of anyone who disturbed the dead king.

 Mandy the Doll was donated to the Quesnel and District Museum, British Columbia, in 1991.
Almost immediately she gave the impression of being quite a creepy doll, leaving people feeling uneasy, especially when unexplained activity began to take place around her.  In an open field near Bernards Township, New Jersey, stands The Devil's Tree.
The tree was used for lynching, many losing their lives when strung up in its branches, and is said to curse any who try to cut it down. A chain link fence now encircles the trunk, so no axe or chainsaw can touch the wood.  When Kerry Walton ventured beneath a old, abandoned, haunted house, the last thing he expected to find was a 200 year old, hand carved doll.
Even less expected was the spirit the doll contained which caused many who viewed it, person and animal, to go into fits of hysterics.  In 1918 a young man bought this doll for his two year old sister. The sister and the doll became inseperable until her untimely death the following year. It was soon after the death that the family noticed the dolls hair getting longer.
Was 'Okiku' the doll inhabited by the spirit of their daughter?  In June 1702 a man lies in his grave, dead, bludgeoned to death. Another man hangs by the neck, covered in pitch, making for a grisly display. And a chair sits in the corner of a quiet country inn, cursed, with all who sit in it meeting a terrible end.
This is the story of Busby's Cursed Chair.  This picture has recently been circulating in the Australian media. It was taken at the Old Errowanbang Historic Wool Shed, just south of Bathurst, NSW.
Does this photo show the ghostly image of a young boy playing on the cart? Well it's not as simple as that...  Joliet has belonged to more than four generations of one family, for over a century. The doll comes with a terrible curse, yet the family does not dare part with it.
It is said the doll holds four souls, but that the number will inevitably grow, as the doll is passed from mother to daughter.  In the year 2000 this painting appeared on eBay, with a tag claiming it was haunted - the seller stated the figures moved at night.
The auction included a waiver, absolving them from all liability after the painting was sold, and any dangers that may follow. What is the history behind this painting?  Annabelle is not your run-of-the-mill haunted doll, but rather a tool for a much a darker purpose.
