 21 October, 1978, a young pilot, Frederick Valentich, began a voyage flying to Tasmania over Bass Strait, piloting a small Cessna 182-L aircraft. However, he never made it to his destination.
Could his disappearance be attributed to a UFO that he, and others, reported seeing that evening?  This is the story of Maud de Braose – a fiery, tempestuous woman, who was frank in stating her opinion, but unfortunately born in a time when that was not at all appreciated.
Maud offended the highest power in the land, and paid the ultimate price in a truly horrible way.  Convicted of three counts of murder, Frances Knorr strangled one baby and suffocated two others in her care.
During an 1883 commission, a Melbourne, Australia, public health officer testified that in the 500 post mortems he had performed on infants, more than half had been murdered. The name was made popular in 'The Conjuring' but who was Bathsheba Sherman?  Known throughout history as the “nine-day queen”, Lady Jane Grey is an iconic Tudor victim: virginal, sweet, married off without personal consideration, and finally beheaded at age 16, largely because of the machinations of her evil parents and in-laws.
This is her tragic story.  In 1872, the British-American merchant brigantine 'Mary Celeste' was found unmanned in the Atlantic Ocean. All clues show it had been left in a hurry, as the food and water supplies, along with passenger and crew personal possessions, were all left on board.
What took place on the 'cursed' ship?  Visiting a cemetery in 1959, Mrs Mabel Chinnery took a photo of her husband, who was waiting alone in the car. Upon development, this image was found. Mrs Chinnery recognised the ghostly extra as her mother, whose grave they were visiting that day.
